I finally came to check out Tower Cafe! We for dinner and chose to sit outside because it was absolutely beautiful. They were pretty busy but our service was there when we needed them, great service. I was craving pasta so I ordered the spicy salmon linguini. It was tasty but different. The garlic bread was bomb. The Thai steak was so so soooo good. I would definitely order that if I come again for dinner.

Tower cafe is a great brunch spot in Sac! Definitely recommend the famous French Toast and the Malaysian Chicken Sandwich. They have seasonal agua frescas (we got the mango and it was so refreshing). For drinks, they provide one free refill snd they even let us take that refill togo. There is a parking lot behind the tower which is nice but it can get crowded at times. We went during brunch on a weekday and got seated immediately, but there was a very long wait to get our food. This place is decorated so beautifully. Whether you sit outside or inside, it is a beautiful, vibrant atmosphere. There is a fountain outside that you can walk by while waiting to be seated as well. Overall, amazing food, amazing atmosphere, average service, but all around great spot.

My friends and I stopped here during our road trip and were NOT disappointed. We aren't from Sacramento so it was pretty hot outside for us, but there's plenty of shade with their beautiful tree/umbrella coverage. We were seated faster than expected and the service was so so so nice! For food my friends and I ordered an assortment of types of cuisines and each one was delicious and hit the spot after our 2 hour drive. The mango pineapple ginger agua fresca was super refreshing as well. definitely coming back if I ever find myself in Sacramento again!

Great brunch at Tower Cafe! The bright spots: 1. It's beautiful. The patio is lush with fountains and cool nooks. Best patio breakfast lunch spot we have found! 2. While the wait is long they have perfected the comfort-while-you-wait-and-efficiency! Tons of shaded spots to sit and wait, a streamlined text/line setup, and some people got cocktails while they waited! 3. The food was really good. I got the custardy/ baguette French toast and it was incredible. Too rich for me to finish, but that's me. A little soggier in the middle than I enjoy but undeniably a great dish. 4. Service was good! No complaints. Their Benedict is supposed to be amazing so I'm taking my big appetite sons back for that next!

Great ambiance filled with friendly staff, a bohemian touch, and plants. Lovely outdoor seating as well. They get busy though so be prepared for a wait but the wait is worth it. The menu selection is diverse and tasty!

Swayed by Yelp reviews, I took a chance on this restaurant. At first glance of the online menu I didn't have high hopes. Rarely does a global menu like the one they offer make much sense or work. When I arrived I curiously pondered the size of this building that that was marked "Tower". Is this entire building the restaurant. But, as I walked up, I realized it was also a movie theatre. The restaurant was right next to it. And then I saw the beautiful greenery surrounded patio. I wanted to sit there on this warm spring day! Seemed so relaxing. I was a party for one so I thought I'd be able to slip right in for a seat. When I got tot he hostess, she told me the wait was one hour. For one? She said maybe 50 min. Other parties around me who had several people in their group were given estimates for 1.5 or more hour waits. GULP! What is this place? Why is it so popular. I ordered a bit extra knowing I'd bring home leftovers. I ordered the vegan Benedict and a French toast. Ok. The eggs Benedict made my eyes roll behind my head in blissful pleasure. People, this was a game changing eggs Benedict. I usually like eggs Benedict but rarely order it because English Muffins bore me. The Tower eggs Benedict is on homemade corn bread with a generous slice of ham. And if you're an egg fan and food smothered in hollandaise sauce, then this is for you! The combination between a gently sweet corn bread topped with salty ham, juicy tomato, an egg blob and the buttery fatness of hollandaise made this dish work. The potatoes were nothing to write home about. I was so satisfied with my Benedict I didn't need the potatoes. Now, let's talk about the French Toast. This was serious French Toast. Also something I never order because I'm not a French Toast fan but for some reason I wanted it on this day. I think it is because the waiter said it's a signature dish. Yeah, yup! It was the bomb! I could only eat a few bites but I now have French Toast leftovers. Happy happy me!

Service is what stood out the most. It's a busy place so inside dining is loud. However outside is much better typically but on my last visit the construction on Broadway was horrible (not Tower's fault obviously). I was disappointed with my Eggs Mole (it was almost burnt) though. My first time to try and I will go back to the French Toast or Huevos Rancheros next time.

Interesting and unique decor at this place! Fast and friendly service! There's plenty of seating and their outdoor patio is beautiful. Make sure you order the french toast- it is too die for

Hidden gem! I have been living in Sacramento for almost a year and a half now and I went to the tower café for the first time. I am shocked that I have not been here before! First, I love the innovative menu and the combination of menu items! We ordered the Eggs Tower, Monte Cristo, and drinks! I am going to start with the drinks first because I had something that I have never ended tried before. I ordered the Raspberry Sake drink (I believe it was called a raspberry bloom). The base of the drink was sparkling sake, which was combined with a house-made raspberry syrup. I highly recommend if you like mimosas with a fruitier flavor. The Eggs Tower is an eggs benedict, but the base is cornbread instead of an English Muffin. The different bottom made the texture much more pleasant and the overall dish more flavorable! The Monte Cristo was just as thought as the other dishes but I did not enjoy bechamel sauce on it. It was really thick and kind of bland, which is why I took off one star. The nice thing is the Tower Cafe has nice outdoor seating that is large enough to accommodate groups. There is also parking behind the Tower Cafe in a lot, which makes everything a lot easier!
